Terms, intakes and breaks
When courses start, how long they run, and the days we are closed. If a date on this page has not been fixed yet, it says so rather than guessing.
The teaching year
The teaching year runs in terms, with a break between each one.
When you can start
Intake dates: the first course opens on 15 August 2026. If you miss it, admissions will tell you the next start date.
When we are closed
Closure dates, including public and religious holidays, are published at the start of each teaching year so nobody is surprised.
If you miss a lesson
Every lesson is recorded, so a missed lesson is watched rather than lost. If you are going to be away for a stretch, tell the registrar before it happens and we will work out how to keep you moving.
